Hello everyone. It’s really good to talk to you again. Today I want to discuss the topic of staying focused on God. This is an important subject, because today we live in a distracting world: from things in the media; to people; to everything that is going on continuously from our cell phones; to computers; to most social media network platforms you go on. They are filled full everywhere you go with content designed to pull you away from God into worldly things, whether it be content filled full of witchcraft; or nudity; or cursing; or pornography or whatever the case is. It’s everywhere. It’s an anti-Christian pandemic, essentially. And it’s sad. It is. And we must remember to focus on God and keep our lives clean. Otherwise, it distracts us from Him and His Word, His perfect Word. As the Bible says in Philippians 4:8, we are to keep ourselves focused on those things which are holy and pure and just and true, not the things full of this worldly life. Because when we do focus on the wrong things, that’s the direction we end up going. If we’re focusing on content full of witchcraft and porn or anything else, it pulls us away from God. It does. Even subtle things. You’re watching TV content that has stuff in it that you really shouldn’t be watching. Or reading books or talking with people. The thing is, we need to keep our lives clean and pure for our most High God. And it’s not just for Him, it’s for our benefit, because when we are keeping our lives clean and pure, we’re keeping our eyes focused on our God, Him, and that is life changing. As long as we are staying focused on Him, we will continue to build our faith, we will grow closer to God and we will truly begin to realize the full benefits of being a Christian. As I mentioned earlier, that is life changing. From there,we can show people an example of how we should be living, and we can help other people, even non-Christians,become Christians. Or we can help reach out to other Christians who may need assistance and assist them as well. Is there anything in your life that you know you really shouldn’t be watching, or a TV show that has content that’s not really appropriate, or books that you are reading that may be full of cursing or witchcraft or anything else, anything that would be distracting you and pulling you away from God? Because at the end of the day, if we’re not doing it for God, everything else is going to fade away. Nothing else at the end of the day really matters. God needs to be the most important thing in our life becauseHe is the most important thing in our life.
