The hope God has given you, don't let anyone take it from you. Keep it secretly in your heart, protect it from skeptics, from pessimists, nourish it with your dreams, until the day it is revealed. Fall in love with God first and He will give you the perfect person for you at the most opportune time. Christian love manifests itself in patience to cover faults and ignore offenses....

I wonder how many of us professional musicians mislead our audience. We are either intentionally leading them or maybe unintentionally misleading them. I remember one night – back before I was old enough to join our church youth group – my church hosted a concert by a local band that was friends of our family.  My dad was down on the main floor running lights and had designated one of the older youth members to run the spotlight from up in the balcony. At one point during the show, the lead gu...

2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us when we give our hearts to Christ, we are a new creation! God changes us from the inside out! We are filled with the Holy Spirit. His love transforms us in the deepest parts of our souls. We don’t react to people and situations like we did before. ...

Whether you realize it or not, the audience is a reflection of us onstage. When you’re performing or leading worship and you look out at the people, what do you see? Are they fully present with you? Are they singing their hearts out? Or does there seem to be a disconnect somewhere? ...

We can list all day long the weaknesses of the Church, but as long as we are humans and here in our physical bodies, there will be weaknesses in the church. Christ Himself says “the gates of hell will not prevail against” but we, the supposed members of the Church, seem to spend all our time highlighting those “faults” instead of doing what we were called to do… lol it is soooo very exhausting. Let’s get to doing Kingdom work, and stop wasting time on the insignificant. Jesus’s entire ministry ...

I have been reading a book titled Mary Come Home! By Mary A. Bullis. Chapter six is titled My Father's Eyes.  As I was reading this, it reminded me of Amy Grants' song, My Father's Eyes.  The first verse starts off with I may not be every mother's dream for her little girl. And that is very true when it comes to me. However,  I am just who and what my Father in heaven created me to be. For that, I am very grateful. I want to have eyes like my heavenly Father. Eyes that are full of compassi...

🤍Joseph and His Coat of Many colors🤍 Joseph was out in the fields, helping his older brothers feed the animals. There were cows, sheep, goats, and just about every other kind of farm animal. There was a lot of work that needed to be done and everyone had to lend a hand. After the chores were finished, they went home to eat a nice meal. They talked about the events of the day. Then Joseph's father called Joseph away from his other brothers and handed him a gift....

"But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison." James 3:8 "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. " We were all taught this phrase as a child. It was my parents way of teaching me to be tough, not to wear my feelings on my sleeves and not to be overly  sensitive . Ridicule, sarcasm and joking plus humiliation were love languages in my family. You learned to develop thick skin quickly or you didn't survive in my family.  ...
