He directed The Mount Unity Choir to a streak of accolades harvesting some of musicâ€™s highest honors. Some of those honors included a 13-track CD/DVD that debuted on Billboard Current Top 40 Gospel Albums Chart at #8 and boasted a Top 30 Gospel Radio single, â€œBless The Name Of Jesusâ€. Other radio singles include â€œI Have No Doubt, and Psalms 117â€ The Mount Unity Choir under Earl Bynumâ€™s direction were voted Steve Harvey's Neighborhood Awards BEST CHURCH CHOIR. They also received the Choir of the Year Award at the Gospel Blue Mic Awards, Texas Music Excellence Awards, and earned The Album of The Year title at the DMV Christian Music Awards.

Bynum is a six time Stellar Award Nominee that includes three 2014 Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations - Contemporary Choir of the Year, Choir of the Year and Recorded Packaging of The Year. One of those nominations turned into a win! Bynum took home a 2014 Stellar Gospel Music Award for CONTEMPORARY CHOIR OF THE YEAR for their debut CD/DVD BISHOP K.W. BROWN PRESENTS EARL BYNUM AND THE MOUNT UNITY CHOIR LIVE, which Bynum also produced. This Mount Unity Choir, through Bynumâ€™s genius artistic leadership, is celebrated as one of the top church choirs, and he as one of the top choir directors in the country.

Known as â€œMr. Internationalâ€, Bynum has completed 22 world music tours to the countries of Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark and Japan. He is president of Hampton Roads Alliance of Music Professionals, as well as host of his own syndicated radio show in 40 plus markets on Musical Soulfood Radio Network called â€œOn Stage with Earl Bynumâ€ with co-host Lucinda Moore.

Currently, Bynum is the Choir Director Coordinator and a Board member of the Gospel Heritage International Worship Summit lead by President & recording artist, VaShawn Mitchell; as well as song leader for the prestigious Hampton University Ministers Conference. He is co â€“ founder of the Independent Gospel Artist Alliance (IGAA), and CEO of Lâ€™rae Entertainmentâ„¢
