View MoreOk, I definitely have to say that it is not biblically sound to say that you should pray only once, and not ask others to pray at all. Luke 18:1-8 is the parable of the unjust judge. He lacked compassion for the woman and had not brought her offender to justice. She begged and pleaded with the judge until finally he gave her what she asked for, so she would stop coming every day. Verse 6 - 8 says, “and the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now , will not God bring about justice for His elect why cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” So, by all means, bring on the praying congregation! Gather the town for a town prayer meeting and let’s see that miracle come to pass! As for you saying that a works of faith is to say thank you for answering my prayer, well, that is kinda like saying Abraham could have stayed home that day, and prayed once for god to provide a different sacrifice other than Isaac, and then begin to thank Hin for said sacrifice, and God would have brought him a lamb. No sir! If Abraham had done that, Isaac would have been put to death by the hand of God Himself! Because that would have been disobedience to the Father, and Abraham placing himself above the authority of the living God!! Which is blasphemy! I completely understand that most people think I’m way out there and a bit extreme in my understanding of scripture, but I’m not here to be a man pleaser. That’s why even most of my family doesn’t like being around me. I speak Gods truth and make no apologies for it. He is my God. He is Holy. And what you are teaching is not biblically sound. You got some truth mixed with just enough lie to turn a babe in Christ down a path that is not built on the truth of the Living God. People, if you KNOW your Father, you will be sharper than any two edged sword, able to discern the truth from a lie. How to come to know your Father? By eating His Word night and day! Checking and double checking the translations with the original Greek words, so you know which translations are accurate, and which are not. And so you can KNOW a wolf in sheep’s clothing when you see one!~
