We, too, can laugh at our enemies. One thing to remember is that our enemies are NEVER people.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"
Our enemies are the same as God's enemies. They are demon powers.
God wants all people to come to repentance. "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
It may be hard not to gloat or celebrate when those who lie on you, mistreat you, and attack you fall, but remember they are not your real enemies. There are a number of reasons for their bad behavior: evil influences, past hurts, present insecurities, and giving in to human nature.
However, Proverbs 24:17 clearly reads, "Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart rejoice when he stumbles, otherwise, the Lord will see and be displeased, and turn His anger away from him."
Remember who your real enemy is! " You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Don't stay down when the world knocks you down. Don't let gossip stop you. Though you may be surrounded by opposition, choose laughter. Not bitterness, guilt, shame, or revenge. We have victory through Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Know that God laughs and will always have the last laugh. His joy is our strength. Choose today to laugh with God at your enemies.

For example, you may have called a relative and said, "I don't need to speak to my mom, dad, uncle, etc. I need to speak to Attorney ____ or Dr. _____." Or vice versa. "I'm not speaking to Dr. _____. I need to speak to my friend or auntie."
Depending on the circumstances you need the other person to wear a particular hat, whether professional or personal.
The same is true with God. We know He is God the Father and Creator, but there are times we need to speak to a certain aspect of His character. You don't want to call on the Mighty Warrior God when you need wisdom, or call on His peaceful side when you need Him to provide your next meal.
When you call upon the Lord, call upon the name of God that can answer your need.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve heard God walking (Genesis 3:8). Adam even said, I heard the sound of You in the garden..." (Genesis 3:10). Even with the wind blowing, animals screeching, and plants rustling, he HEARD God moving.
David said, "Teach me Your way, Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies" (Psalm 27:11).
So just because God's ways are not like ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), does not mean we do not or should not know His ways.
We know the ways of the salmon and why they journey upstream. They are not our ways. We know the ways of the Monarch butterfly and its annual migration. They are not our ways. How? Through observation and study.
How sensitive are your spiritual ears to the movement of God? Do you know His ways? Are you studying and observing? If you need help, do as David did. Approach God in prayer and say, "Teach me Your Way, Lord."

They are weak and powerless, crumbling before your foe. It's hard to stand and fight when the ground beneath you is unsteady, like sinking sand or miry clay.
Instead, make sure your feet are planted on the Rock. Trust and stand on God's Word that is timeless, proven, unchanging, and full of power.
"For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You make your saving help my shield; your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way."
(2 Samuel 22:32-37)

Her dad poured it into a green plastic cup with a straw. He sat it in front of her and she refused to drink her entire meal. She wouldn't even take a sip.
Why? She was convinced because the cup was green her drink was green. No matter how hard her dad tried to convince her otherwise she sat cotton-mouthed. It wasn't until the lid was removed and she peered inside did she believe him. She giggled and downed her orange juice without hesitation.
What my 3 year old saw made her doubt the authenticity of the orange juice. She could have quenched her thirst a long time ago.
How many of us when we encounter something new from God we doubt it's authenticity? And when we doubt the authenticity of our blessing we are in fact doubting Him.
We know God would never harm us or give us something He didn't approve, but because it wasn't packaged how we thought it should be, we delay our promotion, healing, deliverance, or that next level in Him.
Don't miss your blessing because of how it looks.

To seek God's hands and not His face is to go after the gift and disregard the Giver.
Seek God's face!!
