AMERICA: The Western State of Israel

When Joshua took Israel into the Promised Land there were several things that had to happen. One was that even though the Promised Land belonged to all of them God gave the Promised Land to Joshua First. Why? Because he was the firstborn the birthright holder. God would commission him as the holder or ambassador of the promises of God to distribute the land to all the people. It had to come through him because he was from Ephraim the minister of this promise. The only promise Ephraim did not hold was the promise of a King coming from him. Here is the way it worked. Judah who had the promise of the great King would give birth to him. This happened through a Jewish couple named Joseph and Mary in the town of Bethlehem in the Land of Judah. Judah in the Old Testament sold his brothers for silver to the Gentiles. In the New Testament Judas sold Jesus for pieces of silver. He was named Judas in the Greek but his name in Hebrew was Judah. He was a shadow of the Jewish betrayal. When Judah would have crowned him King when he road into Jerusalem on the back of a little donkey the Jewish Elders turned on Jesus and destroyed him in the eyes of the people. Because of this they didn’t crown Jesus as King but encouraged Pilate to Crucify Jesus instead. The crowning of the King will come at the end of the age when all of God’s people crown Jesus King over all. This is their inheritance and their glory that the son of David Jesus will set on the eternal throne of God over the nations of the World. All of these things that happen to Jesus through the Jews was God’s plan so that he could turn from the Jews to Ephraim and the Gentiles.
On the other hand just as Joshua was the ambassador or minister of the Promise to Israel. It was Ephraim’s job after the crucifixion to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ as ambassadors of the New Covenant to the World. In Joshua 1: 3 God told Joshua that wherever he placed his foot it belonged to him and he was to share the land with the children of Israel. Compare this thought with whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven considering the message is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If a soul comes to Christ through ministering the Gospel to someone then they are saved and God recognizes it as so. But any of those souls that are not ministered to will be kept in bondage and darkness. Jesus gave the Kingdom freely to the Disciples, Jesus told them in Matthew 10: 8 “freely ye have received, freely give”. This was the same as with Joshua. God gave him the Promised Land to share with the others that were in the promise; this is exactly what he did.
Joshua 1: 2: Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3: Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
5: There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6: Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
Joshua had to divide the land for an inheritance to the people, the instruction was to go over Jordan with all the people. Before Moses had died he gave a parcel of land to 2 ½ tribes of Israel that wanted to remain on the East Side of the river of Jordan. However These tribes would have to cross over and fight the enemy the same as those that would inherit the land on the West Side of Jordan. But both sides were the possession of the whole house of Israel. Even though Moses had previously told the 2 ½ tribes of Israel on the East Side of Jordan that they could have the land they still had to get Joshua’s approval before they could possess it. This is the way it is today a person has to hear the Gospel in order to understand and be saved. This is our job. How shall they hear without a preacher?
Let us step back and take a spiritual look at this picture. We have the whole house of Israel divided by a body of water called the Jordan River. You have a smaller group living on the East Side and a very much larger group living on the West Side of the River. Lets put this in a larger scope of things and place it on a world map. I believe that this is prophetic telling us that the refuge or land of Israel in the last days would be on a larger scale. That a smaller group of the house of Israel would live on the East Side of the Atlantic Ocean but a much larger group would live on the West Side of the Atlantic. We have the Jews in the nation of Israel on the East Side with approximately six million people but on the West Side of the Atlantic we have a group of around six million Jews living in the United States. But added to this group are the Christians in this country that in God’s promise are also called Ephraim. That Add these two groups of Christians and Jews together and you have a very large group. These all make up the whole house of Israel in America but don’t forget the Jews in Israel together America and the nation of Israel make up the whole house of Israel. Israel the smaller group in the East and America the larger group in the West.
There are Jews and Christians scattered all over the world but I believe that God created a refuge to protect the Jews in the East with a nation of their own and gave the Church a refuge to protect them and the Gospel along with their companions that included the Jews. This is found in America. This land belongs to God and was given to the Christians at the founding of America. It is not a secular nation, it doesn’t belong to them. It belongs to the Christians and Jews in this country and was designed by our founders to be a refuge for both. It is ours, we must stand up and stop letting the enemy of God steal our nation. They are gradually choking the people of God in this nation to death in order to force Christianity out of the land.
