For God alone my soul waits in silence . . . my hope is from him†(Psalm 62:1, 5). If we lean on him while we wait, God will give us the grace to wait and to listen carefully as we pray, go to trusted Christ-followers for encouragement, and keep opening his word and asking him to help us hear him.
Why is silence important to God?
Silence enables us to let God reach out to us. Psalm 46:10, says “Be still and know that I am God.†My prayer for us during the remaining days of Lent is that we intentionally take time away from the busyness of our lives so that we may hasten to God who speaks to us in the silence of our hearts.
Why is God silent at times? It may be because we aren't listening or we don't want to listen. Evangelist Billy Sunday used to say that a sinner can't find God for the same reason a criminal can't find a policeman--he's not looking. Sin makes us turn a deaf ear to God. When Adam and Eve heard the voice of God in the Garden of Eden, they ran and hid. Children often do that when they disobey.
Sometimes God is silent because we aren't ready for the message. He wants to talk to us about something, but we aren't ready. We have to go through refining trials to make us ready to listen.
God is sometimes silent because He knows we aren't willing to obey. He is always ready to show us His will, but He shows His will only to those who really want to do it. Jesus said in John 7:17, "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine." Obedient people always hear the voice of God.
Finally, sometimes God is silent that He might test us--to teach us the importance of silence, the importance of waiting on Him. Waiting helps remind us of God's sovereignty.
Prayer:- Oh heavenly father give us the spirit of obedience to enable us wait on you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Have you ever tell someone a lie?
Acts 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.  2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet.  3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?  4 "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."  5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.
Have you ever believed a lie? I sure have and so have many others. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be deceived by those who have no problem lying straight to our face. Think about some the great deceptions that occurred in times past.
One thing that comes to my mind was the legend of the Trojan horse. No one could defeat the city of Troy until Greeks came up with a deceptive plan. They made a huge wooden horse and filled it with men and left for the people at Troy. A Greek spy convinced them to take the wooden horse inside their gates and that night the men came out and killed the guards and opened the gates for the rest of the men to come in and they destroyed the city of Troy.
There has been many times that news media has lied to the public just for the sake of destroying another persons credibility or to push some hidden agenda. The story that CBS released about George Bushes military record which turned out to be false is one recent example of how the News Media lies. So don’t believe everything you hear or see on TV.
Other people like to tell lies so that they can look good or make you look bad. Etc.
How about you how many times have you told a lie? Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we find it much easier to tell a little white lie as we like to call them than to tell the truth. Of course we know that the Bible teaches that we should not lie. With that in mind let’s take a look at what Jesus says about lying. In John 8 Jesus is defending himself against the Pharisees trying to convince that he was the son of God.
John 8:43 43 "Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.  44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Jesus makes it very clear that the devil is the father of lies and since these Pharisees would not accept the truth Jesus deemed that as sons of the devil. Think about that for a minute whenever you or I tell a lie we are making the devil our father or whenever we refuse to stand on the truth of Gods word again we are making the devil our father. Maybe it would help us not to lie if we imagined that every time we began to tell a lie we see the devil cheering us on our patting us on the back and saying great work my child.
Now lets take a look at 3 different ways John defines a liar.
1. 1 John 2:4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
2. 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
3. 1 John 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Prayer:- Holy Spirit of God fill my tough with your words and help me to resist the devil the father of all lies. I know I'm not perfect. Holy Spirit of God give me your perfection. So that I can win more soul for your kingdom. All this I ask through Christ our Lord and savior. Amen.

Greed – greed is a bad character; and it refers to the intense and selfish desire for something. In real-life examples, people express greed for possessions, money, food, power, attention, etc. Today, our study is centered on one aspect of greed; that is, the greed for money. Greed for money is what the Bible correctly calls the love of money.
The love of money or love for money can be defined as an intense and selfish desire to get more money. And it is a bad character just like its mother greed.
The love of money is a sin just like lust and it is common to all men, Christians, and non-Christians alike. While lust is a strong sexual desire we have for the opposite sex, the love of money is a sort of strong desire we have for money. Â
Those who love money or lovers of money are those who are willing to do anything for the sake of money without considering the morality of it. Hence they do not mind killing, stealing, embezzling, kidnapping, bullying others with the intent of making money and they do not feel any compunction for the wrong things they do.
The love of money is a big problem in all spheres; in the family, the church, the community, and the nation. The love of money is not unique to unbelievers; some followers of Jesus Christ also fall prey to the love of money. In fact, one of the most hurtful acts of the love of money was committed in the life of Jesus when one of His disciples betrayed him for 30 silver pieces. And up to date, that act of betrayal has been reenacted over and over in the church. Also, the love of money is the drive behind numerous scandals – corruption, embezzlement, bribery, etc. in companies, communities, and the state. It is also the driving force behind many gruesome acts of murder, kidnapping, drug trade, arms trade, child trafficking, and more. In a bid to make more money, lovers of money would try out anything or would exploit any avenue regardless of its evil impact on the environment, and the life and welfare of others.
Also, the love of money is not unique to the rich, some poor people also fall prey to the love of money in a bid to escape the menaces of poverty. Â
Prayer:- Almighty God our Father, put passion in our hearts for loving one another and sharing the good news of Jesus with the people around us. That’s all that matters! Your glory, God: that’s all that we want to live for. Whatever blesses you: that’s what we want to put our energies behind. Give us courage to live against the grain of the world. While the rat race of earthly life is speeding by and festering, we will live our lives according to your values, God. Thank you for your grace and mercy in our lives. We love you! Amen.

“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won't perish but will have eternal life.â€Â John 3:16
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus showed His love for others by blessing and serving the poor, the sick, and the distressed. He told His disciples, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you†(John 15:12
As a Christian we should emulate the life of Christ by showing love. Not just by preaching what we can't practice, We should be able to practice the love and nature of God by showing love to people with heavy Borden's. According to the Holy Bible. Jesus was busy showing love and helping the helpless in order to show us example on how to live the true life of God our Father. You maybe righteous and faithful and still not see the kingdom of God, Just because you don't know how to assist or support the less previliage.
The main reason why am talking about this here. It's simple because I knew this is Christian connect. I joined this site few days ago and I came in contact with 2 married homeless believer. Believing and hoping God will turn their situation around. Knowing fully well that God won't send manner from heaven. Please people of God let's start affecting people's life positively. And I'm sure our good Lord will provide for our needs according to his riches in Glory. Let's love leed.
Prayer... Almighty heavenly father I thank you for given us a listening ear and a heart of love and kindness, As we journey into the life of winning souls for your kingdom, Guard us and protect us. All this we ask through Christ our Lord and savior.. Amen.
