Are You Talking About Salvation To People?

Hello everyone, it’s good to talk to you again. Today I want to discuss salvation. It is the most important subject we will ever discuss. It’s life changing, it really is.

Something interesting that I’ve seen before is a church where the pastor did not want to talk to people about salvation. They would run out the door rather than talk to someone about salvation. And if I’ve seen this, I know it must have happened elsewhere, too.

There are people scared to talk to people about God. They don’t want to share the Word. Maybe they don’t know how, or maybe they are not saved themselves. Whatever the case, it is our calling as Christians to share the Word of God.

If we’re not getting people saved, which is the most important thing we can do for people, at the end of the day what does it matter? They are going to burn in hell. That’s what the Bible says, and we need to make sure we stay focused not only doing everything else that God has called us to do but also to not forget that He has called us to share His Word and, if someone needs salvation, to talk to them to help them be introduced to God, because that is one of the callings the Lord has put upon us to do.

I realize that not everyone in church is saved. That’s one of the main purposes of church. There are people on Savior Connect that I’ve talked with. They’ve gotten saved and this is awesome to see. And there are people here who need to be saved. That’s something I want to talk to you about as well.

Do you know Jesus? Do you know Him personally? Would you like to know Him? If so, it’s very easy. I will go through the prayer with you today to get saved if you want to know Him personally and accept Him into your heart. If so, just repeat after me and believe with your whole heart and you will have Jesus as well. It will be life changing and the most important thing you’ve ever done in your life.

Dear God, I know I’m a sinner and I ask for forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer earnestly you are saved. You have accepted Jesus into your heart, and this is the first day of the rest of your life.
