Moving in God's Timing

Hello everyone, it’s good to talk to you again.

Today I want to discuss moving in God’s timing. Whether you’re changing jobs or getting married – or making any decision in your life, especially a major decision, you need to take it before God and make sure you’re making the right decision.

It is important that you’re in His timing. Not before or after. Doing something God has called you to do, but outside His timing, is just as bad as not listening to God in the first place, because you’re not listening to Him. He’s trying to help you and protect you by giving you the proper time to do what He has told you to do.

It says in Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

He is taking care of you with His timing. That has been a lesson that I’ve had to learn and remember in my life, to do those things He tells me only when He tells me, not before.

I do not need to get ahead of Him, and I don’t need to wait until afterwards.

I need to act when and only when He tells me to act on those topics or whatever it is that He tells me to do. It’s a good lesson for all of us, just as it declares in His Word.
