View MoreConcerning Dr. Brenda Engram Salter, who will be at the Kingdom Seekers Network Revival Conference on March 20. I don’t know what version of the Bible she reads, but she is teaching that Job 22:23-28 is telling us that if we decree a thing, it shall come to pass; and to do so we should keep iniquity away from the tabernacle and then you shall lay up gold as dust and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. And the God of gold and silver will keep our bank account full. This is hogwash! False doctrine! That is not what the Hebrew says! It says this: “If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; if you remove unrighteousness far from your tent, AND PLACE your gold in the dust, AND Ophir amongst the stones of the brooks. THEN the ALMIGHTY WILL BE YOUR GOLD AND CHOICE SILVER TO YOU.” See, this is why I’m always saying do not trust the modern day translation. Always go back and check everything against the original Hebrew words. And let the Holy Spirit be your teacher, not some prosperity teacher! I don’t care how many doctorates they have! Get your wisdom from the Almighty! The Word teaches us through Paul that it is our duty to speak up about those who are teaching false doctrine. See 1 Timothy 6:3-5 . But I strongly recommend you seek out the original Greek on this. Some bible versions deleted the part at the end that states, “Withdraw from those of such a kind.” We really must be careful to examine everything closely. The devil knows the scriptures better than we do. And he loves to twist it just enough to make unsuspecting people believe the lie. You must combat false doctrine with scripture. Just as our Lord did. He set the example. Let us learn from His example. Some people say we should not say anything, because it causes discord. That we can simply choose not to listen to that particular preacher. But the Lord said I’d we see the enemy coming and we blow not the trumpet, we are guilty of the blood that is shed. Ezekiel 33:6. So, I’m officially blowing the trumpet to warn those who will listen! Dr. Brenda Engram Salter is teaching false doctrine. Whether she realizes it or not, in another thing entirely. I have tried to message her concerning the original Hebrew text of these verses. No response yet. But if she has not examined the Hebrew text in all her advanced doctorate studies, I shiver to think of what might have been the cornerstone of her pastoral learning.
I have yet to look into the other people speaking at that conference. But, I’ve learned enough, by researching dr. Salter, to know I do not want to attend. In fact, Scripture teaches that any true Christian is to “Withdraw from those of such a kind”. 1 Tim 6:5(last sentence)Original Greek version.
